Should hair extensions experience shedding and fallout?

Updated 2 years ago by Rebecca

Those with experience of clip in hair extensions will know that shedding is completely normal.

Usually when hair extensions are first used this is noticed and its normal to receive some hair fallout during the lifespan of the clip in extensions. It's an expected occurrence and really is nothing to worry about.

With many of the clip in hair extensions we stock containing almost double the amount of hair than a standard set of extensions, it may appear that more hair is falling out to usual, but in fact it is very likely to be proportional to the quantity of hair in the set. In the same way, people who naturally have thicker hair will find more hair fallout than those with very fine and thin hair - it's still the same proportionally.
